Fintech founder redefining access to community capital

Travis Holloway is the Co-founder and CEO of SoLo Funds, the largest community finance platform in the United States, built to expand access to short-term capital through peer-powered lending.

Before launching SoLo in 2018, Travis spent more than seven years as a financial advisor, where he saw firsthand how traditional financial systems often failed to serve everyday needs, especially for small-dollar, urgent expenses.

Motivated to build a better alternative, he co-founded SoLo Funds with Rodney Williams to create a real-time marketplace where individuals can lend and borrow directly from one another, bypassing predatory lending structures and reshaping how financial support flows through communities.

A Cleveland native, Travis brings a mission-driven approach to fintech, focused on financial inclusion, economic mobility, and building systems that work for people, not just institutions.
