Dr. Lauren Siff is the founder and CEO of SurgicalED VR a company revolutionizing surgical education through immersive virtual reality and haptic technology. Her flagship product, offers a risk-free, data-driven platform for training surgeons in "blind" procedures, enhancing proficiency and patient safety. Siff brings extensive clinical and academic experience to her innovative endeavors. She is a is a double board-certified, Cleveland Clinic trained, urogynecologist with 15+ years of experience training hundreds of surgeons. She serves as Chief of Gynecology and Urogynecology for the Central Virginia VA Health Care System. She continues to advocate for avoiding practicing on patients or cadavers, improving efficiency, access and cost, democratizing surgical training worldwide.

Dr. Siff is dedicated to surgical education, completing a certificate of Distinguished Educator at the Cleveland Clinic and has published an Augmented Reality curriculum for transvaginal surgery. Siff has a long history of national leadership and research. She serves as Board Member and Chair of Education in Multiple National Societies (Society for Gynecologic Surgeons, American Urogynecologic Society, American Association of GYN Laparoscopists). She serves as Central Virginia Site Lead for the National VA Women’s Health Research Network, sits on the U.S. National Surgery Office’s Surgical Advisory Board for OBGYN and serves on the Advisory Board as Director for surgeon training for Global Surgical Expedition. She has also authored many peer-reviewed publications and award-winning oral presentations and is honored to have received several awards for peer-review, clinical excellence, bedside manner, teaching, teamwork, and compassion.
